growing up!

The little guy is getting so big! He balances standing up on his own now. With a finger to grab onto he'll take a few steps. Grandma Marge brought a toy he can push around and walk behind so he's getting lots of good practice with that as well. Still no teeth, though he's certainly been working on it. His fist is always in that mouth and there's plenty of drool on his chin at any given time.
He's been a sick little boy this month. We're on our second round of antibiotics in less than 3 weeks and he has a bottle of albuterol syrup for "reactive airways". Tim and I didn't use the albuterol much at first but now he gets it daily. At least it seems to give him some relief; you can hear his lungs from across the room if it's a quiet room!
We've been spending lots of time out at the property. We enjoy watching Conrad explore the great outdoors in his own little ways.

Como Park

Last week my sister and I took our kids to Como Park. It's actually the second time Conrad has been there, but he stayed awake this time! It was a full day; complete with lions, tigers, and bears! My nephew and I practiced our animal signs (sign language). I'm looking forward to Conrad picking up some signing. I know he understands "milk" but instead of signing it back he grabs our hands, as though to "get" the milk.
