Fun on the farm

June 7th was another steaming hot day. The prairie is no place to be on days like that, so I packed up the kids and we went visiting our friends in Chatfield. Although they have air conditioning, we spent most of the day outside because that's where the fun is!

Armin and Sylvia showed Conrad the ropes.

Then we went swimming and then played on the zip line.

All this before lunch! It was more than a little difficult to pull Conrad away when it was time to head to Rochester for daycare and work.

Teams family night

Once a month, Tim and I meet with three other couples and a spritual counselor to share a meal and our experiences of the month, reflect on scripture and pray together. A more lengthy explanation of T.O.O.L can be found here. http://www.teamsofourlady.org/

We're "taking the summer off" but decided to meet in June as more of a family social. Fr. Jim invited us all to his place in Wabasha for a Sunday afternoon picnic. It was beautiful!

It was a hot one. We spent the hottest hours of the day at a friend's house, enjoying her shade and water.
