A Happy New Year

hmmm....more cookies!

We went to church Saturday afternoon so New Year's day we could take it easy (and avoid the roads - the weather forecast wasn't too great).

Hanna was scheduled to work (she pulls a night shift) so it was just us in the farm house that night. When we got home from church we spread out the snackies and turned up the music. It was quite entertaining watching these two.

The next morning Norrie helped make fresh OJ, and the boys made up another batch for monster cookies. Off to a great start!

Farm-sitting

Conrad wasn't the only that enjoyed our farm-sitting experience. Once Norrie got used to their dog, she was all about knowing where and what Shep was doing at all times. If he was outside, she wanted to let him in. If we went outside, she wanted him to come with.

One morning Norrie went out with me to give the chickens water and let them out.

And we all enjoyed the kitchen - complete with oven and dishwasher! We ate lots and lots of cookies. Lots of cookies.
