beautiful last day of January

For being a pretty tough month, today was sure a nice end to it. Upper 30's and sunny! After playgroup this morning, we went to Quarry Hill for a picnic (fruit, hummus, hot chai, and homemade pitas) which we sat outside to eat by the way. Then we tucked CW into the carseat for a short nap while we drove to Carley State park. Tim and I quietly put on our snowshoes and then lifted CW from his carseat and onto my back where he continued to nap while we hiked through the forest and along the river. It was a very nice afternoon and has us excited and looking forward to our Utah trip next month!
