The jetta is finally running, again, and for real this

time. We hope. We can finally move on with things - like splitting more wood for the winter, wiring for better lighting in the yurt and tapping into our wind energy. And playing in the snow. PLAYING!!! Saturday (while Tim was still struggling with the jetta) Conrad suggested we go snowshoeing. Sounded like a good plan to me! It was fun watching him trek around, running even, with the shoes on.

Look closely - see the tips of grass poking up? And the back of the sign? That's some deep snow!

Eventually he asked to go sledding, no surprise because he's been wanting to go for weeks. I decided to give it try, 34 weeks pregnant. The snow was fresh, soft, and there were no trees to crash into and no one else around to collide into. I calculated the risk factor as lower than riding in a car ;-)
