An August biggie was Conrad's 5th birthday! We started the day with a special Birthday breakfast. This year it was eggs and hashbrowns, fruit, more fruit, and OJ.
Next we opened gifts from mom 
and dad. (okay, he was a bit more excited about the RC jeep)
testing out the new toy.
Quarry Hill Nature Center party. We had a pond theme and Mr Travis taught a Nature Class about frogs, fish, and turtles.
Conrad is feeding the fish in the big tank.
And finally, the sweet treats. We had "bug juice" (apple juice boxes), goldfish crackers, froggie cupcakes, and a turtle cupcake cake. I was thrilled how the cakes turned out, until the slightly warm day caused the frosting to get soft and slippery. Check out those frog eyes!
