It's been a very busy few weeks.
It's winding down now. Although I'm sure we'll have several more weeks to eek out some growing and harvest, I'm not so interested in covering plants at night or trying to baby anything along. So earlier this week when the night temps were dropping below fifty degrees I pulled up all the basil and picked all the peppers. Picked a pail of tomatoes too, since rain was coming and I thought I might get another round of sauce made that day or the next. (no fun picking during or after a rain!) 
So while we had some disappointments in the garden this year, I'm still happy enough with what we got that I'll start all over again next spring.
