A family we met in Rochester a couple years ago moved to Wisconsin last spring. More recently they moved within that community into an Amish house. They are neat people we connected with easily...read about their adventures on her blog:

They are actually quite normal (she's a professor at the U of M Rochester campus, now works largely with on-line classes and he's an ER doctor). It's always nice to meet and keep in contact with others that choose unconventional lifestyles.
Speaking of lifestyle, Tim and I have been invited to speak about ours and simple living in general to a JustFaith group at St. Johns Catholic church. This should be interesting :)
