Super Sunday - and weekend!

Last year we spent a snowy Superbowl Sunday moving into Rochester in preparation of Norrie's arrival. This year we had a lot more fun, just playing in the snow. We spent the day in Mantorville cross-country skiing with friends. The little girls got strapped into the chariot and the boys piled into a sled. .

On the way back from the trail, the boys had a chance to pull the sled AND chariot (mush!) Then we took out Conrad's snow gear so his little friend could try snowshoeing and skiing - I think he liked both! Good thing he has a birthday coming up soon, his parents can add a few items to his wish list ;-)

Then it was inside to warm up. Lucky for us there was some cookie dough in the fridge waiting to be baked and two little boys that really wanted to cut out cookies and decorate. Yum.

We also had a really nice Saturday, just no pictures. With juggling two kids and mittens/hats/etc I usually think of my camera AFTER I'm outside and totally bundled. Saturday morning we had some friends out to the prairie for snowshoeing and lunch. Then we went to visit a couple boys celebrating their birthdays (turning 1 and 4). And after THAT, we played with our godson for a few hours so his mom and dad could get out for some time to themselves. We all slept really well that night :)
