Trip to the West...Day 4

Tuesday morning we went for another (but smaller) hike. Then back to the house for lunch before Mike had to report for work. We were all going with him, for a tour of the airport and to see his plane. Not only did we end up getting a great tour, we got to fly! Mike was training another pilot in the plane he usually used, so the job for the day was three "touch and go's" and then some air time. So we took off, landed, took off, landed, took off, landed and then took off and stayed up for awhile, getting quite a bit higher the last time before landing. Conrad LOVED it. Norrie fell asleep after the first take off and didn't wake up until it was time to get out.
