Conrad started soccer tonight. He has been so excited, and counting down the days waiting for this first practice. It went well and now it's a countdown for the next practice (Thursday). Then I'm sure it will be a countdown to Game Day (Saturday). It's amusing to hear him describe his countdown. For example, before Thursday he has a Papa Ray day (Tuesdays they visit G'pa Ray and G'ma Brenda to do laundry and eat dinner together); then he has Church School day (every other Wednesday we attend a homeschooling coop that meets in a church); then its SOCCER DAY (Thursday). Then stay at home all day day (Fridays), and then SOCCER GAME DAY!
What was that like, to have one big thing a day to be excited about and not even think about all the other little things? When does that change exactly?
