This spring has been awesome, and busy in the "driving the convertible to town for an ice cream bedtime snack" kind of way. We've been hiking several times, went up to Lake City for a picnic (traveling was half the fun, it was a beautiful top-down kind of day!), helped plaster the exterior of the first straw bale home in Goodhue County, and traveled to Chicago for a weekend. There's been work mixed in too of course; gardening, deck building, van repair, putting up a garage, cutting wood supply for next winter.
Earlier this month, we saw our first fireflies of the season, the prairie is turning green as the new grasses push past last years growth, and we've had company stay in the summer guest house. All great signs of summer's arrival!
Tim's highlight of the spring is his new toy....
